         QUALITY MATTERS

Permanent makeup can be absolutely beautiful when done correctly. It is very important to go to an experienced artist for your work. Unlike standard body tattooing, permanent makeup is a process because face skin and body skin tattoo very differently. It can take anywhere from 1 to 3 sessions to complete a procedure.  We use the highest-quality Perma Blend pigments which are made in the USA. Look no further for experience and quality.

THE PROCESS

  • Will I be swollen after the procedure?
Generally, brows do not swell much but you can expect some mild to moderate swelling with the eyeliner and the lip procedures. The swelling can last for 1 hour to 3 days but shows up mostly in the early mornings after you wake up. For brows, you can resume normal activity the same day and for eyeliner and lips, if they are swollen, it is advised to treat them with an ice pack for 10 minutes before resuming normal activities.
  • Does it hurt?
The use of a topical numbing cream is applied prior to the procedure for your comfort. Depending on your pain tolerance, most clients either feel nothing or a mild discomfort.
  • How can I best prepare for my procedure?
General Guidelines: In addition to a verbal screening over the phone, it is advised to refrain from taking any over-the-counter blood thinning medications such as Ibuprofen, aspirin, vitamin E, caffeine, and fish oil (omega vitamins) for 7 days prior. Also, refrain from consuming alcohol for 24 hours prior. Avoiding these products will help your skin retain more color and help prevent the risk of bruising. **If you are under the care of a Doctor for any ongoing major medical conditions, a Doctors note may be required. Please talk to your Doctor. For Brows, you can wear your brow pencil so that your artist can see what shape you are accustomed to and also feel free to bring pictures of brows that you like. Please refrain from using retina or like products, laser treatments, brow growth serums or peels in the brow area for 2 weeks prior. Do not pluck, tweeze, wax or thread the brows for a few day prior to your treatment. It is helpful to the artist to see what you are able to grow naturally. **Botox, Fillers and like treatments should be done a minimum of 2 weeks prior or 2 weeks after your procedure. For Eyeliner, please do not wear contact lenses, fake lashes of any kind or eye makeup of any kind. Eyes may be light sensitive after the procedure so bring sun glasses for the ride home. Stop using lash growth serums 2 weeks before your procedure. Also it is helpful to have on hand a bottle of refrigerated witch hazel and sterile cotton and cotton swabs at home for aftercare. For Lips, it is advised that if you have ever had a cold sore or fever blister that you pre-medicate with a prescription anti-viral. You will need to have this prescription filled for the follow-up visits as well. Simply let your Doctor know that you are having the Lip procedure done and that you have previously had cold sores. We recommend a minimum of 9 500 mg. pills incase it takes 3 visits. That is 3 pills per visit but always follow the doctor's recommendations on how to take the anti-viral medication. This will help prevent a breakout during the healing of your lips. **Fillers or Botox like treatments should be done at least 2 weeks prior or 2 weeks after your procedure.
  • How long will the procedure take to do and how long will it last?
New procedures can vary depending on the service but most procedures can take 1-2 hours to complete. Brows generally take 1.5 hours. Permanent makeup can last for up to 3 years.
  • What is the difference in the types of EYELINER that you offer?
Guy Liner: This eyeliner is often applied on men and women who want a very "hardly noticeable" look that will make the eyes pop without looking like a traditional eyeliner look. The application is done as a series of dots that are placed in the lash line to mimic the look of lashes growing. This is also a great method for people with alopecia that have lost their eyelashes. This is the same price as a Natural Eyeliner and Lash Enhancement. Natural Eyeliner also known as Lash Enhancement: This subtle liner creates a very fine line in between the lashes in your choice of color. It is for those that like a more natural look and for those that want a little bit of definition added to the eyes without a heavier eye makeup look. This liner can also have a small taper added to the top edge for lift. Designer Eyeliner: This eyeliner is customized with the option of adding a smudgy to create a smokey edge, a wing for the cat eye look, or an extra wide bold liner. These eyeliners take extra time to do but they are not recommended for everyone. Your artist will make appropriate suggestions based on the shape of your eyes. Designer options are available for upper liner only. Upper or Lower Eyeliner: Yes, you can get only the upper liner or lower liner applied. Designer options are available for the upper liner only. ** You can find photo samples of these on the portfolio page of our website.
  • Do you take payment plans?
Yes, we offer payment plans through Afterpay and Cherry and you can find a link for the application on our website.
  • What if I don't like it after it is done?
The most important thing is to choose an experienced artist. After all, it is a tattoo on your face. By doing so, you will avoid the mistakes that some inexperienced artists make. We always plan your design carefully with precise measurements and get your approval prior to applying your makeup. Sometimes freshly done unhealed makeup can seem darker and heavier than it will look once it is healed. If it is healed and you are still not happy with it, some minor adjustments can be made on both shape and color on your perfection visit. Removal is possible but not advised.
  • Can I bring a friend or family member?
It is not advised to bring anyone during the procedure as they will not be able to watch the procedure. Artists feel it is distracting for both the client and the artist to have an audience plus we like to keep a very sterile environment for our clients. If someone needs to accompany you, they must be over 18 and they are asked to remain in the waiting room.
  • Do I have to have a credit or debit card to reserve an appointment?
Yes, as most beauty businesses do, we require a credit or debit card to reserve an appointment for no-show protection. New clients are required to put a $50-$100 deposit down to reserve a first-time appointment. We require a debit or credit card to be on file to schedule returning appointments. There is a 24-hour cancellation policy, and if your appointment is not canceled or changed within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time, there is an automatic 15% no-show fee for the time that we have set aside. **We truly do appreciate it when clients notify us within the 24-hour window when they need to change or cancel an appointment so that we have time to fill the appointment.
  • What is the difference between the types of LIP COLOR that you offer?
Lip Liner: The title tells it all. This is a thin line traditionally done in the same color as your natural lip color to define the outside edge of your lips. Lip Fade also known as Ombre Lip: This lip is similar to a wide lip liner that gradually lightens toward the center of the lips. This lip method is best for people who already have light lips. The lightness in their lips acts as a natural highlight when dark is added. Full Lip also known as Lip Blush: This is our most popular Lip. This method starts with a lip liner to reshape and define and complete filled in color. Lip blush is the same as a Full Lip except it is more subtle and done with natural lip colors to add just a hint of color. High Definition Lip: Just as an artist would use light and dark colors to create dimension in a painting, a High Definition Lip used 2-3 colors that are strategically placed to give the illusion of a fuller lip. This method is great for people who love the pouty lip look. **There are photos examples of these on the portfolio page of our website.
  • How long does it take to heal?
Most procedures are healed within a week. Lips, however, may take up to 10 days to heal.
  • How much does it cost?
We offer many different methods of applying your makeup and sometimes we combine those methods. Our goal is to do custom work meant for your face that will look completely natural once healed. The procedure price is based on which procedure or combination of procedures is best for you. Our makeup prices range from $250-$600. Brows generally range from $350-$575. A price for your specific procedure can be determined during a FREE consultation after a careful evaluation of your specific needs.
  • What is the difference between the types of BROWS that you offer?
Microbladed Brows: Microbladed brows are created by using a small blade to deposit pigment into the skin, mimicking thin crisp hairline strokes. This technique results in fuller, more defined eyebrows that can last anywhere from one to three years. This method is great for people who have a full natural brow without large missing areas. Powder Brows also known as Microshaded Brows: Powder or microshaded brows involve a technique where a machine is used to create a soft, powdered effect by depositing pigment in a gradient way, resembling the look of filled-in brows with makeup. The sheerness of the color is very customizable for those that may want something extra soft or more bold. Hybrid Brows also known as Combo Brows: This brow combines shading and hair strokes, and when layered, it creates more fullness and a more defined shape. This method is great for those with missing areas of the natural brows or for those that desire a fuller look. Nano Stroke Brows: Nano brows are semi permanent eyebrows created with a machine and (tiny) nano sized needles to give the effect of natural hair strokes. This method is often used for people who wish to have soft hair strokes but they are not a good candidate for microblading. Brow Color & Shape Correction: This is for the client that has had previous work done with a less than desirable outcome. Working over top of someone else's permanent makeup application that has not been professionally measured or applied poses a challenge even for the experienced artist and therefore takes extra time to correct. **There are photo examples of these on the portfolio page of our website.
  • Why should I maintain my makeup every 1-2 years?
Just as haircolor fades over time for various reasons, permanent makeup pigments can also fade. It is important to protect your investment by doing yearly or bi-yearly visits to refresh the color and shape of your permanent makeup.
