Focus Classes are designed for previously trained permanent makeup artists who are ready to expand their skills into specialized eyeliner and/or lip procedures.
Prerequisite: Completion of a qualified beginner PMU fundamentals program of 100 hours or more is required. Your foundational training does not need to have been completed at Fine Arts PMU Academy.

Lip Blush & Eyeliner Training FAQs
What will I learn in the Lip Blush training course?
Our Lip Blush focus training covers lip design and symmetry, lip liner techniques, lip fade and ombre techniques, full lip color, high-definition lip concepts, color theory, understanding natural lip undertones, machine control, pigment implantation, and pre-care, aftercare, and touch-ups. It’s a hands-on 2-day permanent lip color course.
What does the Permanent Eyeliner training include?
The Permanent Eyeliner focus training covers lash enhancement techniques, upper and lower eyeliner, designer eyeliner, eye shape and eyeliner design, mapping and symmetry, machine control, needle and cartridge selection, pigment implantation, working safely around the eye, and pre-care, aftercare, and touch-ups.
Do I need to complete Brow Mastery before taking a Focus Class?
Yes. Completion of the Brow Mastery & PMU Fundamentals Training is required before enrolling in the Eyeliner or Lip Focus Classes. This ensures every student enters focus training with the foundational knowledge, safety education, machine skills, and core PMU techniques needed for these specialized procedures.
How long are the Lip and Eyeliner Focus Classes?
Each Focus Class is a concentrated 2-day, hands-on training. These specialized courses are designed to help you add permanent lip blush and permanent eyeliner to your professional PMU service menu.
Where can I take lip blush and permanent eyeliner classes?
We offer Lip Blush and Permanent Eyeliner training in Chandler, Arizona (Phoenix metro area) and in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Both locations provide small-class, hands-on PMU instruction.
Will I receive a certificate after completing a Focus Class?
Yes, you receive a certificate of completion for each focus training. Please note that training certificates do not replace state, county, city, or health department licensing requirements that may apply where you intend to practice.
